The Rituals of the Priest of Four Paths. (Monk Rituals)

CASE FILE: Rituals
Kaede Yori
"It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.”
...........................................................................
NAME:
→ Drawing forth the Spirit
TYPE:[font=courier new]
→ Monk
LEVEL:
→ All characters start at level one.
FORM:
→ To Draw Forth the Spirit, Kaede must preform a chant while laying hands on the target he wishes to capture. Said chant changes with each and every spirit he brings forth, seeming to be individual to the Ayakashi he is attempting to bind.
...........................................................................
BRIEFING:
→ One of the first metaphysical skills that a Shinto priest learns is how to interact with spirits. They learn to speak to them, call on them and when necessary expel them from where ever they reside. By placing a hand on a Ayakashi, possessed individual or object and concentrating for a single minute he can force the spirit out of its hosts body(if there is no host, he can still preform this ritual) and imprison it within one of his many prayer beads if said spirit was for lack of a better term, level one. Level two spirits take two minutes, level three take four, level four take eight and anything greater then that takes up to thirty minutes to seal. Of course to manage this said spirit has to ether cooperate (Highly unlikely) or be rendered unable to defend them selves by some means. Also note that the use of this power causes great pain in the individual effected by it, as well as causing various paranormal if cosmetic effects to take place in the environment around them. (Such as the person levitating, blood dripping from walls, plants withering, dancing lights Ect.)
Note: Can only be used on PC's with permission of their player.
CONSEQUENCES:
→ The largest and most dire consequence of this ritual is undoubtedly the anger and hatred his bound and captured spirits posses for him. Should they ever escape(Which would only take the smashing of the bead that they are contained with in) these spirits would seek vengeance on the priest that dared bind them. The fact that he must at all times be in possession of their prison(Which is a physical item that can be easily damaged) makes his greatest weapon also his greatest weakness. But whats more, if he should his beads for what ever reason be separated from his person for a period of time greater then one day a a single spirit will be let loose, and one more for each day after starting at the fallowing sunset.
